Seriously, you people, anyone has noticed that Gambit's name translates as "Remy the Handsome"?
Did Marvel have this in mind when they created him? A piece done to encourage ~CornoftheGGs's Gambit fangirl-ism. Enjoy! I had a lot of problems with that trenchcoat, and a not-so-funny sidestory when inking didn't quite help. Tried to use it as a mysteriousness device, more á la Humphrey Bogart rather than using it to tease showing off some of his armored muscles. Also gave him a bandanna, 'cause I thought that Gambit with a bandanna would look like a younger Solid Snake... so let's call him Solid Gambit... or Gambit Snake? |
