Suzumebachi

I devised this fella after a comment I received by *HodariNundu saying that Redback, being a spider-themed heroine, should have a wasp-themed archenemy.
And I started working on a design inspired not by the spider-wasps(which would be the logical decision, since they prey almost exclusively on spiders), but on the much more frightening and formidable giant Japanese hornet, Satan's favourite insect.
You see, these hornets are the absolute rulers of forests -in their scale. In fact, the only things that dare preying on them are humans and a very specialized bird of prey. And that's it. No one else messes with them.
So, there's this guy, whose name translates to "sparrow-hornet" or "sparrow-bee" (alluding to its large size), which is actually the common Japanese name for the hell-bug. Anyway, I'm wandering off. The character is mainly a Japanese mercenary, a superpowered hitman with basic "stronger than the hero" superpowers and levitation, while the rest of the hornet-themed stuff is provided by his suit of armor, this is, the wings allow him to move while in midair and provide stability, his helmet has a wide array of sensors, and his forearm guards house a large stinger coated in distilled giant hornet venom, enough to kill a man in less than an hour.
He was originally commissioned to kill Redback, but since is original faiulre to do so, he starts developing a fixation with her, and though he says it's just to protect his reputation, the truth is that his obsession grows creepier and creepier every thime they encounter.
